Never alone, Never far.

There is a particular kind of guilt that millions of us carry quietly. We moved cities, or countries, for work and for our children’s futures — and our parents stayed behind. We call when we can. We text “did you take your medicine?” between meetings. And some nights we lie awake doing the time-zone arithmetic: it’s 8 AM there now… has she eaten? Did anyone check?
SilaCares began with that exact feeling, inside our own families. We are engineers, designers and children of ageing parents living 100, sometimes 10,000 miles away. We tried the existing solutions — tablets our parents never learned, devices that sat unplugged, apps abandoned after a week. The problem was never our parents. The problem was that every product asked them to change.
So we inverted the question: what if care arrived through something they already love and use every day? Our parents don’t open apps — but they answer WhatsApp. They don’t tap dashboards — but they send voice notes. They don’t want monitoring — but they light up when someone asks, warmly, how they slept.
“Sila” carries meanings of connection and virtue across the cultures we serve — in Arabic, ṣilah (صلة) means bond; in Bangla and Malay traditions it evokes kinship and good conduct. That is exactly what we build: the bond, kept.
Today SilaCares gently checks on elderly loved ones three times a day, follows up on every medication, keeps meal plans and doctor’s routines alive, listens — truly listens — through an AI companion, and when something goes wrong, mobilises family, doctor and a neighbour within seconds. All of it without a single new device or app, in five languages at launch.
We are proudly a HawkEyes company, headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh — a city of families spread across the world, which is precisely why we understand this problem in our bones. SilaCares goes live on September 1, 2026.

Not one parent should have to learn a new device to be cared for. If a solution requires teaching, shipping, charging or troubleshooting, it isn’t a solution for an 80-year-old — it’s homework.
A reminder that feels like an alarm gets ignored. A reminder that feels like a caring granddaughter gets answered. Every message Sila sends is written to be kind first, efficient second.
Health data belongs to the family, full stop. GDPR compliance, encryption, strict AI boundaries via retrieval-based architecture, no data sales — ever. Trust is our entire product.
Sila doesn’t replace the son, daughter or grandchild — she extends them. Every feature exists to make families feel closer, never to make human contact feel unnecessary.
Interviews with families across four continents; competitive review of 13 global elder-care platforms; core AI care engine built on WhatsApp Business, Telegram and iMessage rails.
Pre-launch pilot with families spanning Dhaka, Toronto, Madrid, Buenos Aires, London and Kuala Lumpur — shaping Sila’s tone, follow-up timing and SOS chain in the real world.
SilaCares opens to families worldwide in English, Spanish, Arabic, Malay and Bangla. Early sign-ups receive priority onboarding.
Additional languages, richer health-trend intelligence, and partnerships with clinics and home-care agencies through our Custom plan.
